We were learning about community workers and the importance they had in our daily lives. The children imagined what they would do if there were no policemen, no doctors, no firefighters, no bakers, no chefs, no cashiers, no teachers! They shared how helpless they would be and appreciated the roles everyone played.
While preparing for our trip to Changi Airport, the children learned that there are many community workers there. They work hard daily, giving their all in making our airport the best in the world! Putting one and one together, the children decided to show their appreciation to the many community workers at the airport.
We cut out LATTE cup templates, coloured it and put them together to form an envelope. A packet of LATTE and a bar of Kit-Kat chocolate was added in the envelope.
We chose LATTE because we wanted to shoutout to the community workers: Thanks a LATTE (a lot) for all that YOU do!
A Kit-Kat bar to remind them to: Have a break, Have a Kit-Kat because we all know that they truly deserved it!
Once again, the K1 and K2 children would like to say to all the community workers, “THANKS A LATTE FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!
