Carpe Diem MI Preschool SSDB Launch on 05 April 2018.
From 2 to 4 April, our K1s and K2s were busy doing their flyers that we will distribute to our neighbouring residences. Flyers were all about asking recycled materials that we will use for our project.
We used recycled materials, SSDB hanging mobiles and pledge cards to decorate our centre for the launch. Children showed their creativity in making all these decorations. Our K1s and K2s shared their thoughts on how they will help keep the community clean and how they will do recycling.

On the day of our launch, Teacher Ruby had a short talk with the children and parents about SSDB. Then we had a ribbon cutting with Mr. Moses Ng (Centre’s Director) to officially open the SSDB project and activity to children.
K1 and K2 children, teachers and parents went to anearby block to distributed their flyers. Children were very brave and courageous to gave out their self-made flyers and request for recyclable materials.
Children are looking forward on the day of collecting recycled materials!
