Pet in the School

As part of our Wild life conservation project. K1 children had a terrapin pet at school wherein they have to take care of it. Introducing pets for them was the best kickstart to increase their awareness about taking care of any kinds of animals, may it be a pet or wild animal.

This activity has encouraged our children to take part in taking care of our terrapin. They showed responsibility and cooperation to clean and wash the terrapin’s house and also the terrapin. Most of them enjoyed cleaning the terrapin’s shell and there was no signs of fear into their faces against the terrapin.

The teacher guided them on how to clean and remove the dirt from the terrapin and terrapin’s house.

This activity has given them the realization that pet and wild animals have to be taken care well by maintaining their cleanliness and proper hygiene.
