On the 16th - 18th August 2017, Agape Little Uni @ Clementi held a charity bazaar to raise funds for our ”Door Knock” Project (Collaboration with Project Goodwill Aid) on the 26th August 2017. The funds raised will be spent on purchasing groceries for the beneficiaries under the Project Goodwill Aid Carelist.
During the bazaar, we had different booths such as the craft booth, food booth, photo-taking booth, games booth, henna booth and a flea market booth (selling of pre-loved items).
The K2 children took charge of the different booths during the bazaar. It is a good experience for them as they learn to serve their customers, perform sales transactions and earn money for a good cause.
The bazaar attracted not only the parents but also members of the public to come and take a look as well as showing us some support.
Through the charity bazaar, we managed to raise more than 1.3k for the beneficiaries. It was definitely a great experience for all the children who have contributed and participated in the bazaar, be it making the crafts for sale, baking cookies or tending the booths. The charity bazaar is a success thanks to everyone who have shown your support! :)
