PCF Bukit Panjang Blk 412 follows the MOE general curriculum of 6 areas of development to provide holistic learning to its students. A unique point of this center is its focus on character building. It believes that the character of the student should start from a young age, and strives to impart the values of Respect, Inspiring friends to do the same, Caring, and active Help (RICH). Not only does this center teach, but it encourages the students to inspire each other through action.
As at December 2012, a brand new gym for the development of motor skills for the students will be available.
This center attained SPARKS certification in May 2012. Project FLAiR and Kid's Skills programmes offered by the Help Family Service Center are also available here.
The Parents Support Group is very involved at this center. The parents help with testimonials relating to the character building lessons and these public displays of approval encourage the children to repeat this behaviour. The PSG are also involved in reading programmes every week. The staff at this center also provide extra reading programmes for the children at no charge every Monday and Tuesday from 1 - 2 pm, so that students of both sessions can enjoy this programme. This is done in hopes of instilling in the students a sense of curiosity and love for reading and knowledge. The students also have a book journal with the aim of getting them interested in reading at a young age.
As the students move to K2, the students are arranged in classroom settings that mimic that of primary schools, to slowly acculturate them into the primary school environment.
One of the biggest attractions of this center is a large beautiful garden right outside the kindergarten premises, which is under the care of the staff and students of the center itself. It boasts a variety of plants, and it aims to impart the virtues of patience, growth and ownership to the students.
