In conjunction with the theme “caring”, the children decided to show their deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the Migrant workers as well as to those whom have contributed in one way or another in making Singapore a better place to be at by distributing goodie bags.
Our parents have made generous contributions by sponsoring food items like coffee, instant noodles, etc. to the goodie bags. Children helped to pack the items into the goodie bags, before going around our neighbourhood areas to distribute them.
It was indeed a pleasurable experience as well as a fulfilling trip to see how these simple gestures have put a smile on their faces. Let us not forget how our environment are kept clean and green without the help of our cleaners, road sweepers and garbage collectors!
To our migrant workers whom have worked especially hard under the scorching hot sun, we would not have been able to live a comfortable life with a roofover our heads without their hard work.
Henceforth, it was a valuable experience and lesson learnt for our little ones, whom put in effort to extend their gratitude to all these people whom have helped us in one way or another!
