On July 22, 2017, our centre principal, Ms. Pauline Neo, together with the teachers and staff, parents, grandparents, caregivers, guests and friends joined our hands together with the commitment to preserve the earth, make our planet a better place and to give joy and spread happiness to our elderly at Sparkle Care @ Simei Block 120.
The fund-raising event was officially launched. Different booths and activities were prepared to make this event meaningful. Children from Infant, Toddlers to K2 came up with different artworks and ideas such as canvass painting, recycled materials craft and a lot more. DIY and terrarium planting whereby we used our own compost fertilizer, ‘our Garden Cafe’ were among the highlights everyone looked out for as the children baked cookies, decorated pancakes then sell them to the parents and guests which they actively supported and enjoyed after their visit through all the booths and planting activities.
Our K2 children were also able to take charge of the different booths and displayed their knowledge in composting-their own little way to save the earth! It is indeed an event to remember and a wonderful experience in their learning journey!
