National Day celebration at Iman Kindergarten Yishun this year is a day to remember. It was a recycling project and we decided to incorporate with the National Day. Our theme was ‘Recycling Project: Iconic Singapore’
They were given one recyclable item, and they were to enhance it to any icons in Singapore. We received many airports, MBS-like structure, Gardens by the bay, MRTs and lots more.
We turned the corridor outside school an outdoor art gallery. We even invited the publics to come and visit the gallery. All of them were impressed with the exhibits.
What’s important was, the objectives were met. We recycled items and we saw positive bonding between children and parents. We engaged healthy rapport with passerby too. A harmonious and memorable scenic for Iman Yishun on Singapore’s 53th birthday.
