Another exciting Journey at BL3!
Based from previous discussion on what plants they need to care for in their upcoming mini garden in school, children decided to care for veggies and hence, the trip was organized to support their learning and mission to care for the environment. Children had a fruitful experience at Bollywood Veggies today!
They learned how the veggies and herbs are planted through potting session. They were introduced to the screwpine leaves and the lemon grass. They learned how the screwpine leaves are used in cooking or baking and even to repel pest like roaches. This has sparked their ideas and some suggested to create Roaches-free spray.
Potting Session in progress
The pot plants were brought back to school and children continued their mission and vowed to care for their plants daily.
