15 March 2017: Shi En is back to School!
Upon returning, her classmates offered her help, as they were aware of her condition. They would hold her hands when she was walking towards the toilet. They would also help her carry her bag after showering to put it into the cubby hole. At the beginning, they would also check on her by asking “Shi En, do you want to drink water? I can help you to take your water bottle.” The children were very caring towards her and displayed a sense of responsibility towards their classmate who needed assistance. The children were not taken aback by Shi En’s appearance and never failed to include her during playtime as well.
