They waited in great anticipation for tea with their children. Most had applied leave or hours off from work for this afternoon tea break with their preschooler on a weekday.
More than those who signed up came. They thronged in to the Multi-purpose room which was already filled with the aroma of cookies.
The rich butter melted into the cookies did the same to the distance between the K1 and K2 parents.
Most are familiar with one another for they are also the ‘regular’s who graced many events organised by the school.

The current ‘Cookies For A Cause’ was explained with photos that delightfully surprised some parents to see their children bake for the first time!
A taste of those cookies was inevitable and so tea items were TEA AND COOKIES! !
Sales of cookies was done amidst the conversations and fellowship between parents and children.
There wasn’t enough to meet the overwhelming demands; thankfully order slips were printed in advance, in optimism!
Tea time came to a reluctant end after we captured the sweet memories on photos. And all knew it was only the beginning of cookies’ sales for the fund-raising project!
