We provided carton boxes for the children to design their own classroom “recycle plastic” special bin. To develop the habits of recycling, children are tasked to collect excess used plastic bags from family and friends and place them in the special bin in their classrooms. Teachers will be monitoring the number of plastic bags collected on the “Collect to Protect” Challenge Tally Boards. The child that collected the most plastic bags will be the winner. The plastic bags collected will be used in future activities as the project advances.
