Recognised as the first centre in Singapore to offer infant care services for infants aged 2 to 17 months, Learning Vision @ KK Hospital (POP Centre) has been operating for more than 10 years. This centre, which received Learning Vision’s Value Added Centre award in 2000, also provides preschool services for children from toddlers to kindergarten age. Today, Learning Vision @ KK Hospital has fulfilled its desire to be a workplace childcare centre and preschool. In addition to our team of early childhood educators who ensure our children receive strong foundation that prepares them for lifelong learning, we have a dedicated  infant care specialists to look after the wellbeing of our infants.

The early childhood team of Learning Vision @ KK Hospital is led by the principal, Puspa and vice principal, Syah. They both combined to have almost 30 years of teaching experience in Learning Vision. The dynamic duo sees to it that every parent leaves the centre happy. The teaching staff at the centre are passionate about their job and love working with children. They seemingly never get tired or impatient with their charge. To them, every day is a brand new day working with the young children. The teachers like to be on the field and always be connected to the children. Hence, they are able to efficiently facilitate the children’s learning. Learning Vision @ KK Hospital believes that it is important to be flexible when it comes to nurturing the young ones. Learning corners are constructed for these children so they can learn and play simultaneously. Teachers follow the biological clock of the infants, letting them sleep when they need to. Thus, the children learn in a non-threatening and conducive environment. Learning journey becomes a joyful experience instead of a burdensome one.

Unique to its placement, Learning Vision @ KK Hospital often hosts charity drives to raise funds for the KKH Health Endowment Fund and Singapore Children’s Society. The centre raises funds through ethnic themed food fairs and art exhibitions set up by the children and patronized by their parents from KK Hospital. The centre also organises field trips to iconic Singapore locations such as Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Zoological Gardens. Learning Vision @ KK Hospital celebrates Singapore festivities, such as, Chinese New Year, National Day, Mooncake Festival, Hari Raya and Deepavali.
